Darren Meehan
My business is built on trust and referrals, with most of my clients coming through recommendations from individuals and families I’ve helped across the UK. I pride myself on taking the time to truly understand each client’s goals, whether they’re first-time buyers, remortgaging, or expanding their property portfolio.
I offer free initial consultations and typically do not charge a fee — my goal is to make the mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible
Murray Rees
With over 35 years in Financial Services, initially as a Senior Manager with a High Street Bank, and for the last 10 years with Darren, there are not many situations I have not come across. This experience allows me to give advice in a “down to earth” fashion, whilst building bespoke solutions to meet clients’ needs.
I have advanced qualifications in mortgage advice, and Equity Release mortgages.
Oliver Lawton
I have extensive knowledge of First time buyers, Contract workers and portfolio landlords and many other situations. I provide clear advice which is tailored to each individual needs to find the most suitable solution. My approach is to work with clients to establish a long standing relationship with understanding the needs and proactively ensuring my clients are always at the forefront of our advice and fit for their financial requirements as their life evolves.
Clementine Palmer
With 16 years in financial services and 8 years as a mortgage broker, I help clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned landlord with HMOs or multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs), I tailor my advice to your goals and circumstances.
My approach is simple: put clients first, keep things clear, and make the journey as smooth and stress-free as possible. From initial planning to final approval, I work alongside you to ensure every step feels manageable — and every decision feels right.

I bring over 23 years of experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser at Halifax, where I built a reputation for my expertise, empathy, and client-first approach. Now part of the BMI team, I continue to support people through one of life’s biggest financial decisions with care and clarity.
I’m married, a proud mum of three, and I share my home with two energetic dogs. I love spending quality time with my family and exploring new places when travelling.

I am part of the mortgage administration team and have been involved in mortgages for several years. I have vast experience of lender requirements and policy in order to progress cases to offer. I will also help progress with your solicitor towards completion. I also deal with the buildings and contents insurance for homeowners and landlords, advising them through all options in order to get the most suitable policy to fit their needs whilst comparing the find the most suitable price
Chloe Swadling
Chloe joined the team in 2020, bringing with her a strong background in finance and a degree in mathematics. Known as the office memory bank, Chloe’s attention to detail and sharp thinking make her a go-to for both colleagues and clients alike. She is also CeMAP qualified .
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, following a wide range of sports – especially Formula 1 – and supporting a certain North London football team (not the good one)
Michelle Gower
I have lived in Thame most of my life. I started at Bright Money in September 2024, bringing a massive amount of knowledge and administrative experience to the team. I previously worked in banking for 18 years. I really enjoy helping and supporting clients through the mortgage journey.
Outside the office, I enjoy long countryside walks, discovering great places to eat, planning my next travel adventure and spending time with my daughter. I do like to indulge in life’s finer things!
Nicki Handforth
I joined Bright Money in 2020, bringing a wealth of administrative experience to support the brokers in managing the mortgage application process. I enjoy working closely with the brokers and the wider admin team to progress applications through to offer, and I gain great satisfaction knowing we’ve helped clients enter the Buy to Let market, secure a better deal on their home, or take that first step into property ownership.
Outside of work, I love walking my dog, spending time with my twin boys (usually watching sport!), and treating myself to a spa day with friends.
